I actually know someone who this happened to. He was rearended in his Isuzu trooper which was only a few days old and 10 gallons of paint opened up inside the truck.

the worst one I have ever seen was a guy who threw a can of spray Kilz into his front seat and it hit a screw driver. It emptied out inside the car, oil base too. For years he drove the car afterwards with a speddo and gas guage that he scraped the paint off from. LOL
