OK, for the daily drivers, what tires have you been most satisfied with in regard to wear, handling, and road noise? My newly acquired NSX is about due for some new shoes, and I want to be careful about the purchase.
Thanks
Steve

I am running Kumho somethings (17 front 18 rear) on my 92. Have about 10000 miles on them so far, and am getting slight wear on the inside edges of the front, but that's it. I went with the alternate alignment shown in the FAQ, and all was good, with the exception of the alignment shop saying my springs had sagged or something so they could not get the spec dead on. Guess that means I have an excuse to upgrade if I can ever come up with the cash. About $600 for the tires and another $150 for lifetime alignments. Lifetime being as long as I own the car, not the tires, so I am pretty pleased. The tires are OK, but with the new alignment setting the car handles like crap. (still better than 90% of the cars out there, but definitly worse than factory settings) Probably a combination of both. Had my 92 for less than a year and already over 20k miles. And I still get excited every time I see her. Enjoy your new ride.

It really depends upon what size tires you need. If you are keeping the factory rims, then your choices are kind of limited. I would highly recommend a set of Bridgestone S-03 or S-02 if you can find them. I have the S-02 on my NSX and they are awesome. I have the S-03 on my Audi S4 and love them. For reference, just check on The Tire Rack tire test section and you will see how highly rated the S-03's are. Good luck in your search. You can always buy another set of stock tires which are the Yokohama A-022 or Bridgestone RE010.

I have always, and will always, weigh in on the side of OEM Yoks for best wet and dry performance if you are still using OEM wheels. You can't beat tires that are designed for each corner of the car.
