Custom Intake

hey all,

Was wondering if anyone made their own intake? I mean, if anyone has just attached a n universal filter. If so, what size filter will fit and what is the diameter of the opening attachment point?

You can get an injen intake (k&n cone type) for $125 bucks...pretty cheap alternative
