So,

I have this interesting leak from the coolant tank. It's in the "V" underneath the overflow port. Sorry about the focus, but I'm talking about the area under the port. There's nothing coming out of the port.

Now, I can get it to leak at 185 degree coolant temp and holding it at 3000 RPM as in the video:

I assume this simply calls for a new tank and there is no fix?

Thanks.

Replace it. Paint it black.

There are some amazing adhesives out there nowdays. The pressure is not that high in the cooling system. What would it hurt to try? You're just going to throw it away anyway. Make sure to scuff the surface for good adhesion before applying any adhesive. Give it a shot.

Thanks everyone. No scuffing...quite hard to get in there if you see where it's leaking at.

Going aluminum. She'll be happier in the SoCal heat and track environment with that anyway...

Thats definitely a new spot to leak to me!

I have had to replace my tank 3 times in 2 years now.

Thankfully Acura offers a 1 year replacement warranty on their parts so the last 2 have been free!
