Crack in front of the dash (Between Defrost Vents)

Is this a common problem? Both my 91s have had it. There is a large crack near the temp sensor on the small part between the windshield and the dash. I saw a thread on replacing the part. You have to remove the entire dash. I am going to do it.

Any tips on dash removal? How many have this problem? If it is common I will post pics of the teardown/replacement process.

By the way, does anyone have this part for sale?

Apparently it is a very common problem. I just did the job myself.
http://www.leonoff.net has some pictures.

It is not a difficult job but just a lot to remove/install.
