Comptech Pro Suspension "clunk noise" fix?

I don't see a need for a mil spec bearing.

If you look at the entire system a com-8t bearing is not the weakest link.
The spacer/shim that is in-between the 12mm bolt and the 1/2 boar of the bearing will be the first thing to give way with a metal bearing.

You need Teflon "PTFE" lined bearings. This is a must.

I didn't find the Aurora bearings in stock the few places I checked.
I was in a rush and Mc Masters-Carr had them.

CT Engineering has the 7/8 in stock. They made me a deal on them.
Unfortunately I had to send them back since I needed the 1'.

Good luck.

Hrant- I would be happy to take your suspension off your hands so you can upgrade to Motons:biggrin: Don't let Don pass you up with his new SOS SC this year.

I finally had time to take a look at the bearings recently and found out that the upper bearings are 3/8" inner diameter and the bottom ones are 1/2" inner diameter.

I was intending to have a closer look at the bearings but realised it would not be a good idea to remove the top or bottom bolts (the ones through the bearings) without knowing how to properly remove the shocks. I've not worked on nsx suspension before and don't want to get in a pickle.

Anyone got a link of the normal procedure for this?

Also will I need a bearing press to get the bearings out?
