I know I am getting an NSX, and I use to want a white with black top and black interior(Guess cause it reminds me of the old type R) but now I am starting to like red. Has anyone else had trouble picking out a color they wanted.

The only NSX I've ever driven was a white one with the black top. Sharp looking car. I'm going to begin my search in earnest Q4 2007 - Q1 2008 and am looking for green, silver, red, or white in that order.

The green ones are really stunning...

Its all about the Black/ Ivory !!!

bbbeeeeeyyyaaatttccchhhh!!!

in general im a fan of black/white/silver cars... right now im in a 93 blk/blk nsx and it looks awesome during the day when it's clean and at night time it always looks great

i didn't have a hard time choosing my favorite color, I had a hard time finding it:tongue: that's why I settled for a blk/blk before I found my Holy Grail(sebring silver)!!!!

I have to agree with you, those 3 colors are my fav colors as well. My number one choice will always be black/black followed by the others with black interiors. I think black at night is the sexiest of any color. It seems they give off the most reflection of light since black is the darkest color.

I do like the black/ivory but...I got to go with the black/black:wink:

i was looking for a black/black when i was in the market..... ended up with a black/ivory, and i like it even more. i really like the ivory interior - it really sucks that they only ran it for like 3 years, cause i think it would look absolutely amazing with LBBP..... blue and white go very well together

that being said..... anybody have a LBBP/ivory?? it'd beat the crap out of the black or camel interior

This color "war" is a reoccurring theme here on the Prime and always generates a lot of personal preferences. With that being said, it's an exotic sports car.

Red is really the only color!

My preferences:

1. Monte Carlo Blue
2. Sebring Silver
3. Imola Orange

I love black. My Saturn Ion Redline is Black and looks good(Go ahead make fun of me) I don't think I want a black NSX though. I really like White, And I am growing more fund of Red with Ivory interior.

I was on a limited budget so I had to go for an early model. I wanted a car that was all one color so the only choice was black. A clean black car is very sexy. The hard part is keeping it clean. A garage is a must.

and those guys with 'other' colors will not tell you this..

but Red is the fastest color as well

Black is beautiful. 'Nuff said :)

Silver is very nice too, without doubt. Perhaps it has something to do with Pulp Fiction, I used to watch the Mr. Wolf scene 10 times every day before :)

Black on Tan (only the best for an hour a week, when clean)
Monte Carlo Blue on Tan (probably not much easier to keep clean)
Kaiser Silver on Black
Silverstone on Black.

Honorable mentions:
Grand Prix white w/ black top
Brooklands on tan (only seen pics)
Long Beach Blue Pearl (black or tan) - my original 1st color choice
Can't go wrong with red. But you can go wrong with yellow or orange.

I'm pretty happy w/ third place in this case!

My preferences when originally shopping were

1) GP White/Tan

2) Sebring Silver/Ivory

3) Formula Red/Ivory

I found a great red/ivory one first so I bought it.

Ideally, Long Beach Blue Pearl/Blue interior would be my first choice. Second would be Silverstone/Camel

RED!

I just successfully completed my search and purchased a RED NSX. As already stated, it is the fastest (lightest weight paint color). I also like the silver, but not quite as much as the RED! Yellow is my 3rd favorite car color to look at, but I don't want to attract that much attention, so I would never buy that color. Imola orange is also sweet. Blues and greens just aren't 'sporty' enough, but that is just my personal preference.

Nothing looks cooler than a black car that is perfectly clean sitting in the sun ... but with black you lose visual details like the side scoop because they just blend into the paint. One additional note about a RED NSX ... I think it looks best with the black top. The black thins or flattens the car and makes it look even lower ... which I think is a very cool illusion. '
