Coincidence?

Greetings Everyone!

I just installed an OEM changer into my '96 NSX-T. The installation was very straight forward. The only connection of wires was the DIN cable.

Now the curious after effects...

1) The intermittent wipers are not functioning. I was caught in rain two months ago and they worked then. I was caught in rain again yesterday and they stopped working; however, other wiper settings are still functional.

2) My integrated cell phone stopped powering up when I start the car. The phone will not even turn on when I press the power switch on the handset.

3) My power antenna does not rise anymore. I DO NOT have Smartenna. I have tried switching between tap, radio, and CD.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help. Thanks!

David

It sounds like something is shorted to ground. Richard's advice is good; start by disconnecting the changer.

If that fixes it, you have either a bad change or a bad DIN cable. Finding another NSX owner to swap some parts with is probably the easiest way to troubleshoot it.
