Code 31 TCS engine cuts off for a split of a second

This started last week when the car was hot. I reset the ECU and drove in the morning about 80 miles and no problem. This afternoon when on the way back got hot and the code was back in less than a mile of driving. When I got home I replaced ECU and TCS unit but the code was back in few miles. Any idea?

Is your cel on also? I had a weird incident, same as yours, last night. But, my cel was also ON. 3 fast blink. The TCS code was 3 long 1 short.. That's 31 correct?
My car would die within seconds of starting when the cel and TCS was on.. Today, I put some injectors cleaner in the tank, swap the rear bank plugs and coils in different spot.. Reset ecu, went for a long drive, put in fresh fuel, drove home. Nothing come up, yet.. No more lights.. Talked to a buddy of mine which had similar issue when he first got his nsx and he fixed his by adding an extra ground wire from the ctsc ignitor to tranny. Then solder the ctsc ESM that was tapped onto the ecu..

But I don't know if you are stock or FI?

I got 93 MT bone stock.
It was the main relay !!!!!!!! I spend all day checking everything what was in the service manual and when I din't know what else to do I changed the main relay. That was it !!:biggrin: Inside of the car had to be hot for the relay showing a problem. I had only TSC code 3 long 1 short. 31
Hope that it will help somebody in the future.

Glad it was simple. It should help other. I already had the main relay replaced so I didn't think it was my issue.
