Clutch Replacement, what wear items?

Do I need to replace the entire clutch, or is it possible to just replace the wear items, such as the disks, washers bearings etc...? Would this save me anything in the end, or should I just go ahead and bite the bullet for the $1,500 clutch set?

I have someone that can do the work, the problem is that it's quite a drive and I really need to get all the parts ahead of time, so I would prefer not to play too much of a guessing game on what to purchase.

or u can just buy my brand new comptech clutch i have for sale in the for sale forum

The labor to remove/install the transmission is relatively constant. The parts should all be replaced to ensure reliable operation and compatibility. Stock parts are fine for a non-modified/street set-up motor. Go ahead with the repalcement of all worn items. The cost savings for piece-meal replacement of these items is not worth it!

Just ordered a clutch set from http://sonsacura.com/, they had a great price with the NSXCA discount.

I would go with an aftermarket clutch if I was going to keep the car. I plan on selling it soon (sob, don't get into racing, it's worse than drugs) and I know a lot of people wouldn't like the increased pedal stiffness and the shutter.
