I dropped my car of to get my clutch changed out along with new clutch master and slave cylinder. Eventually i got a call back today from my frustrated mechanic. He told me that everything was put back in. But somehow the clutch wouldn't full disengage when full pressed down. he thought there might be an air bubble, but after thorough bleeding that was not the problem. The car just wouldn't go into gear right. this is a centerforce clutch. Anyone encountered this problem or know what might be wrong

Thanks Brian, after reading it sounds exactly like what is happening. Eventually talking to my mechanic, it seems like he has done the initializing process. He does have a copy of the repair manual when doing it.

I just went to try it out and when the engine is turned out, it just wouldn't into gear and if it does it takes lotsa force, which is not good. Even when engine is off, it takes some effort to transition gears.
