clutch master R&R
Drive your car BEFORE you do this job. Get a specific feel for the pedal, what it feels like, at rest position and travel. You'll go nuts trying to duplicate the feel if you don't set you "baseline", otherwise you'll second guess yourself to insanity.
The rod length is easily adjusted with your fingers....use the jam nut to make the adjustment permanent.
It is very cramped quarters underneath the pedal cluster. Have lots of light and small hands. Needle nose pliers help too.
Use flare nut wrenches. Don't EVEN think about starting this job with out them---they are worth their weight in pure gold. (If you believe nothing else about this post...believe this one!)
There are EXACTLY 6 pumps before you empty the reserviour. Speed bleeders make the job a lot more fun.
Lastly: remove the front hard pipe with the master and install the hard pipe on the new master before you install it.
Make sure the clutch is releasing fully. If not: you will trash your transmission, quickly.
