Should I resurface the original flywheel or get a new one?

Whichever is more affordable. Either will work fine. If you are resurfacing, make sure there are enough life left and no cracks.
When I changed my clutch I couldnt get the flywheel off. That honda lock-tite is some serious stuff. So i resurfaced it. Works like new.
