Has anyone made a transparent targa top similar to corvettes see thru top for 1995 and later NSX-Ts?

No.

Let me rephrase that as "not yet" ...... as other efforts along similar lines of products for the NSX-T have been made, tested .......

Maybe I won't have to suffer sunroof withdrawal on my next NSX after all!

If you do find someone who makes this, and you like the result, please tell me. It is something I want to do as well. When I have the top on the car, it is definitely darker and less open feeling than my other cars with sunroofs, so I would love to have dark glass instead too. My email is [email protected].

I'd definitly be interested in a clear roof panel as well.

I guess the more appropriate question is, are you in the market if the price is in the $1000+ range?

The biggest obstacle is securing the product to sustain wind turbulances at speed and that means most likely going back to the oem latch design - and no you will not be unable to drive at triple digits - thus the liability issues of he said and she said.

The difficulty will be to replicate latch assembly. You can not buy it separate from the targa top. My guess would be that this could be made with acrylic or formed glass. However, you'll need to give up your targa or buy a new one from Acura. Unfortunately, it's cost prohibitive (a couple thousand from memory).

Does anyone know if anything like this is available in Japan. Seeing as they have almost everything for the NSX in an aftermarket configeration, I'm sure someone has or will comeup with the idea. Or maybe we can try to cut a hole in it like the DIY for the engine cover and put lexan in it.(Although I wouldn't like to be the gopher for that project.)

Disregard that last idea it seems kinda dangerous!!
