Cleaning under hood.

I was wondering if you can clean under the hood the same procedure that some of us use to clean the engine compartment. You know which spraying the Simple Green all over and then rinsing with water only to follow with dressing of your choice. I didn't know if it would hurt the ABS unit, battery, or fuse boxes to have water poured directly on them.

Yes this technique works just fine on the front compartment. Don't forget to treat the rubber and vinyl parts with protectant when you're done - I like spray products such as Tire Foam for this area. Spray liberally, allow to penetrate then wipe off the excess with a rag.

Thanks for the heads up. I just wanted to get a 2nd op before jumping into it and destroying some expensive components.
