Sometimes my car is very hard to start. and sometimes when it does start it
idles very low sometimes the gas pedal has no reaction, and the check engine
light comes on, the code is "4" That sensor looks it's a bitch to replace,
timing belt has to come out and the gears too!! Anyone have to replace this
sensor before? Does anyone know if there is a lose of performace? I reset
the light and it won't come back on for a week or two.

I've never had to replace mine due to sensor failure, but I've had it out while doing a head remove/install.

Like you say - the timing belt has to come off and so do the front head cam gears, after that it's easy to replace <g>.

You may want to contact the Barn Man - Barney Demonbreun [email protected] as he does a little bit of the traveling NSX mechanic thing in your area and would do a professional job at a reasonable rate.

Good luck,
DanO
