Choppy Clutch when cold

My clutch is a bit choppy (grabby) when cold. After about a 10-15 min drive it seems to go away. There is no slipping.

Any thoughts? Its an 05 with 12k.

any smell at all? lot of stop and go traffic? I'm assuming no standing starts.

the aftermarket clutch on my high mile '04 was very grabby and smelled so I knew it was on it's way out. The new oem clutch is like butter (too soft actually).
