Chevy to Jump on the Bandwagon with Mid-Engine C8 Corvette

This is exciting and concerning at the same time. If Honda ever needed to rise to the challenge, this is the time.

Overall, I like the NSX Concept's styling better but have to admit that this rendering of the C8's back-end is what they should have done...and could still do.

That has been a rumor that gets spread every time a new car is due to come out. That picture has a rear window and B Pillar that looks very familiar. Sprinkle some CCX add a dash of R8 throw in come Corvette style lights from a GTR and bam you got a car that sells magazines.

I will believe it when I see it.

Really? I can't find it and would find it hard to believe since Motor Trend and Car and Driver just reported this development. Also, I can't find any other pictures/rendering of the C8 on line.

BTW, N Spec, the N2X Spyder looks amazing.

I'll believe it when i see a real car not a drawing. Last time at Geneva motorshow the Corvette on display was definitely front engine...
