Changes to Lime Rock

Thanks for the link, Bob. I'll be up there with NASA on 4/12 (1 pm - 5 pm). With the 1/2 day format, NASA will only have HPDE 1, 2 and Instructors.

You won't see the changes until after the American LeMans race since the repaving appears to be slated for June.

I will be up there on April 12 with a group of high school students who are doing the Defensive Driving School in memory of one of their classmates. He was my friend's son and was killed in a car accident last year. Stop up to see us if you get the chance.

wow big changes for such a little track.

Looks like the downhill be wider at track out with additional paved runoff room. They are supposed to be keeping the original configuration and "adding" different potential layouts.

Any details on the July 4th track event? Don't hold out on us newbs! :)

I hope you are not including me in that "us" because I am now a veteran. I am thinking of instructing next time. Bob said its easy.

Very cool. I took the Skip Barber course there 10 years ago.

A little off topic, but as you know we have Moroso Motorsports Park here in Palm Beach. Two weeks ago they tore up the entire track and are in the process of laying out the newly designed road course. They moved a lake last week!

Word on the street is that our Koni race was the last time any of the big racing series are going to use the old track layout... From now on, ALMS, Grand Am, etc... are all going to use the new corners.
