Center console double din

Does anyone out there make a CF trim, that's not a layover, looks like stock, comes with piece around top vents, has a working ashtray(or at least space to mount 1 or 2 power inputs and doesn't cost $800?

Nate, are you talking about this? It is for stock replacement and is made by CF. Not an overlay. I made those and I should have 5 pieces by March. Approx. $400 a piece.

Can you make a better quality than the one is shown? The fabric below the volume knob and upper left corner of the ash tray cover is stretched and bundled up. It is not evenly laid out.

This is a sample unit for fitment purpose. The one in production will be in better quality. I will try make one in 2-DIN but it may not work with stock ashtray. I will make one out to see.

This is also a REAL carbon fiber part, they are imperfect (at least the weave) and that is the nature of it, if you really want it to have "perfect" weave you may want the fake stuff...

I know it is REAL CF. What you are saying is no one can make a "perfect" weave? IF that is the case, I rather keep the factory one.

I'm confused. Is this thread about CF parts from LarryNSX or Tamoske? I would be interested in a quote for double din dash + vent section + pair of door inserts from LarryNSX, if possible.

Question: are all underside mounting bosses provided?

What oz. weight carbon are you using? The weave can be straightened out unless you're using an adhesive to stick intially! Time and patience when doing so if your using non spray adhesive. Using tweezers and a needle you can get any part to be perfect with a resin that allows a longer sitting time to dry. Depends on quality of the maker in his craft. FYI
