CEL help. Solid CEL-with engine running, NO CEL with jumper in, Key on only...

I am trying to figure out what is making my Check Engine Light illuminate.
I did installed a CompTech Super Charger and now 10-15 seconds after engine start, I get a CEL.
Key on, jumper in...no CEL and no flashing dash light (that would suggest a failure code)...what am I missing?

You are running a stock kit correct. No AEM...I would check your ground wires and then check the wire splice to the ECU.

Will do...those splices were a pain!
Since I'm getting no code I had no place to start.

Did you try jumper in while the engine is running with the CEL on? You may get a code that way if it isn't being stored in memory for some reason.

I read that if you start with jumper in you will get a CEL (which I did)...are you suggesting with engine running after CEL is lit, jumpering and maybe it will give me a flash code?

Correct...no AEM/piggyback...nothing, low boost 1.6L CTSC

Yes jumper after it is running and after the CEL comes on...see if it gives you a code.
