Hmm, it fit quite nicely in the trunk without any trouble, and without
having to fool with any special hiding place, though that would free up the
trunk space.

"Our NSX-T test car featured a removable roof panel that opens the car up
for an almost convertible-like driving experience. With the top on, the NSX
has the structural integrity of a coupe, and with it removed we noticed no
significant cowl shake, though rigidity was reduced. With the roof in the
trunk, the NSX's cargo space is reduced, but that is unlikely to be a
concern for buyers of this car."
just fyi, the nsx-t roof does not go in the trunk (im surprised you even
managed to get it in), it goes into the space designed to place the roof
when it is removed which is above the engine compartment under the glass
engine hatch.
