Unfortunately, no. I took four shots while it scooped up water, but the pics were either blurry from motion, framed incorrectly, or had a big shrub in front of the plane.

I think Si tried to take a pic but his navigator was unfamiliar with his digicam and missed the pic completely. =) Oh well. I couldn't get my gf to grab the camera soon enough to get a shot. Maybe Alex was able to? Not sure.
 
I guess you did! =) When we were passing by a long straightaway next to a pond/lake, a big fire-fighting plane came flying in to land on the water to refill its tanks. We got a great view of it landing and taking in water.
 
Man...I swear...I need to move out there for a while. Just long enough to do that drive.

Sorry I mispelled Eric's name in the credits, but I already trashed the opening banner, and the %^&@$ thing is rendered already! If i get some time later in the week, ill try to fix it.

Did the footage come out alright with the fire spitting from your exhaust? I love that BOOM! Can't download the footage yet, problem with isp speed.

Is there any way I can get a high Detailed Picture of that car with the roadblock.... that is one of the collest NSX pictures I have every seen...

NSXTC, is there any other format you have that video in? Maybe say a Hi-res version? If you need a place to upload it I can assist =) If you could render it out to maybe a higher resolution I'll donate the bandwidth!

Funny you mention that. I'm trying to get him to give me the full-res verison on a miniDV tape so I can transfer it to a DVD-R (along with other footage I've shot from various NSX events).

BTW, I've already told Marc that I finished a new intro and closing sequence (including new titles and credits). He has been out of town, so he hasn't had a chance to integrate it into the final video yet.

Im back and had some time to re-do the video with the new footage that Eric sent in. Version 1.1 is now on-line at the original URL:

Due to popular request, it’s in the highest resolution I could get with .WMV format. It’s about 44MB now. If anyone wants a bigger file / higher res., etc and has a place for me to upload it, lemme know (Full res AVI estimated to be 880 MB)
