Today enesexdreamer and I decided to join the Ferrari/ Lambo crowd at the Village Coffee Roaster meet/ and canyon cruise in Woodland Hills/Calabasas. Both of us drove to VCR with one of our friends Gary, who drove his 360 modena with a capristo exhaust system. The sound of this car is something to behold. Driving along side of him felt like the monaco grand prix. it is hands down the closest thing to the scream of a formula one race car. Oh how i wish that capristo would make exhausts for the nsx:biggrin: . The meet had medium sized turn out, a lot of Lambo's, and not as crowded compared to Cystal Cove. Parking was a piece of cake, and the coffee at VCR was worlds apart a lot better than starbucks. After the meet, all the lambos, F-cars, P-cars, and us NSXr's went on a very spirited drive through hills of mulholland drive. What a rush!!! I have to say, the NSX never ceases to amaze me. Through the tight turns and hair pins, the car was just so nimble, responsive, controllable, and stable. The nsx was never twitchy, and I could feel the road as if i was walking the road barefooted. The car handled like a grand prix car. I kept the car in second and third gear the whole way at 5000 rpm and above, and the car just shined. This was the first time i stretched the legs on the nsx, but the car gave me a sense of confidence in driving ablility, even though I am just a novice driver. The NSX is so much fun, and because of its second to none handling characteristics and your connection to car, you feel like pushing it to the limit further and further. I think after today, we should all put warning stickers inside our cars stating " Warning: You are not Ayrton Senna!"

We did take pics. Enesexdreamer should be posting them up soon.

yeah,... that was pretty fun. first time i ever got to push my car.(a lil bit:wink: ) and i must say i was very impressed. the twisties is truely were the nsx shines. me being a novice driver was doing pretty well. 2nd gear the whole time. (3rd on some short straights) there were plenty of tight blind corners,.. tight S turns, U turns, Z turns, R turns:eek: while elevation changes. there was this one U turn that was slanted and when i took it i got dizzy?

Wil and i were fish tailing the corners (2nd gear). but i got a little reality check when i noticed there were no guard rails:eek:

sorry about the quality of photos(phone cam), nothing much, just the little break we took with a 355 spider.(too busy having fun to take photos:biggrin: ) i wish i had my camcorder mounted in the car to record the run. next time.
