Kevin Luc is an outstanding photographer. I wasn't aware that he also did videos/editing. Hardly an 18 year old amature student if you ask me. Great video and superb editing I really enjoyed it.

Actually Kevin is strictly stills. He helped Will (Advantech) with some of the stills effects. The entire video and editing was done by Advantech. Pretty impressive for a self-taught kid who started off with a handycam :)

Once my car comes out in spring and the entire bodykit is put on we're doing a sequel :D

Oyagi's Video is nice it has good camera work and great editing, also it has a purpose, it is an Advertisement/Ode to video.

The other Video really sucks, It is about street racing but it makes no clear statement for or against it!...it's also poorly written, if it was his friend in the other car why didn't he recognize it? They had a great opportunity to show the dangers of street racing and the death and injury it causes, they got an D at best in my opinion.

The teacher that gave them an A for it needs to go back to school!

Pointless waste of 1:29 worth of youtube bandwidth

Don't take this personal because everyone has a right to their opinion, but I wonder just how concerned you really are about the dangers of street racing...

Stop hastling him, he helped some kids do a video for their school project. Not a big deal. I think it was very nice of him to use his car in their vid.

Geez... what a lot of complainers. :frown: It had an NSX in it - what more can you want? :D

I dont care what anyone says, i thought that video was pretty good. Not everything has to have hollywood quality cinematics or perfect editing. These guys are students; obviously inspired by the Fast & Furious films and probably the Need for Speed games. Good on them for being creative and making a film about something they love. This is considerably better than other student videos i've seen... and give it a couple of years these students will look at their own video and laugh, and possibly go on to create better videos. It's all a learning process.

nsx1: Good on you for helping these students out. That can only give these guys more respect for NSX owners and the NSX itself. Let's face it; most Ferrari owners probably wouldn't do this for a student project.

Please tell these students thats Neo  sends his "respect" for them using music by Yuzo Koshiro (Composer for games like "Streets of Rage", Sonic the Hedgehog, Actraiser, Revenge of Shinobi, etc..)

Best part of the video was in the ending... you see the nsx and 300ZX burn off, then a quick side shot of the ZX driver shows no NSX in the background... obviously the NSX had burned off in the lead! :D

Wow! That really captures the feeling of piloting the NSX.

I don't work in production but I do work in TV. I think if this was a first time video it was actually produced pretty well. The story content might not appeal to everyone, but it did get the point accross. It was simple. No over use of unneeded special effects (Which is what a lot of so called pro wedding production houses do), and it probably was an accurate story of what goes through the mind of many teenage boy drivers.
