buzzing noise from dash???

hello all,
I'm a relatively new NSX owner. I've had my car for about 3 weeks now. Lovin every minute of it. It's a '91 with a bunch of mods on it such as DC hearders, Taitec GT exhaust, Tein RAs, JDM short gears, and a couple more things. One think I've noticed is a buzzing noise coming from behind the dash. I hear it probably about 90% of the time when the car is on. Sounds like it's coming from that little vent looking thing that's at the end of the parking break knob when it's in the released position. It's a buzzing, maybe slight grinding sound. Must be something electrical tho. Anyone else heard this sound from their car? It's pretty faint. You won't hear it with the stereo on or when u're just driving around in the car.

Scroll down about half way and read about the various problems with the aspirator fan. I have this problem as do many owners. It is a little thing. I need to take action on it as well.

It will work on the fan only
some other noises like the panels..
better live with it like I do..
over the years, the plastic parts shrink etc... thus creates the noise

I'm not trying to be difficult. Here's why I am saying it might not work. I tried using compressed air on mine, and it didn't work. So I had the dash opened up and the fan replaced.

If it works for you, great! Better to try a $3 remedy that might fix it instead of a $500 fix; if it works, you've saved $500, and if it doesn't work, you've only lost $3 (at worst).
