Hey guys, I need some light over here.

I will be replacing my right rear hub/bearing asambly and I have a quick question.

I will be using an aftermarket hub which comes come with the bearing already pressed in.

And I wanted to know if when I remove the four bolts holding the hub would the hub just come out easy or do I need another tool to get it out?

Is there any tricks that I can use?

This is the part.

I didnt know I was that bad at looking for info but I guess I am.

I cannot find any info on this!!!!
I will be doing this on wednesday, And I am hopping that I will be able on my driveway.

I read in one thread someone was talking about a slide hammer, how does tha work?

Getting the bolts out is the least of your trouble.

I found my bearing was rusted in pretty well. Its a snug fit.
Took some severe beating to get it out... to an extend i expected to have bend me whole rear suspension.

But then, i live in a very wet country and have driven it in snow, salt, ice, rain, sand, track and whatever one can think off, and lasted 200.000KM.
I dont think yours will be that hard to get out.
I got an used bearing (was not interested in the pressing and such), which came from a 2 years younger NSX with less KM's on it, which came out pretty easy.

Best way i found is unscrewing the 4 bolts all the way out, then screw them back in, all the way, but half an inch or so, then you can gently hit then bolts to get some movement in the hub. Try to hit it out 'straight' so dont sit there hammering one bolt.

Make sure to have the drive axle free before you attempt. Nut off. Axle slidding in out on its splines.

Good luck!

Wrong bearing/Hub?

Finally I just recieve the damned bearing but now I have my doubts if it is the right one.

This the bearing/hub number: hub098-13

Do I have to remove the actual spindle from the original and press it on the new one?:frown:

I just replaced all 4 bearings on my car just 2 weeks ago, u have to get the outer pressed out and repressed in with the new bearing. I also installed my new ARP wheel studs on all 4 corners as well.
