British last 10 - special colors

Very nice looking cars. I don't understand why those of us in NA didn't get a better choice of NSX over the years.

How hard would it be to put the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car?

The door handles are no different than the US car, which for later years are painted grey instead of black as they had been previously. The stock floor mats from the earlier years NSX are still the best, but didn't come in all the colors. So the pearl white and metallic red were the only exterior colors delivered that we haven't had available the US?

My 03 has the gray color door handle. Matching color to the "titanium" color of the center console. And it is a US model.

Wow! That red interior is awesome...man, I can't believe I'm actually saying that.

Really, that looks...wow!

Again, my 03 black has the same interior, it's an "built to order" option on the US model.

Wow, i didn't know that on the newer cars. I need to get some of those.

Other than this color FAQ on Prime, I have attached a list of colors (exterior and interior) from the Japanese 2005 NSX brochure.

Outside the US, there were at least 4 shades of white available. This one is Platinum White Pearl, NH609P. In the US, we only got Grand Prix White.

The car that was posted for sale seems to be NDR 1's car from Post #4 of this thread.

That's awesome!!! Thanks for posting...that is the color I was thinking of wrapping my berlina black with( satin white or pearl white) never knew it was an actual factory option....

I'm sold.

I'm not sure how or where I got this. These are all of the colors and their codes that were available on the NSX in Japan as of 2002. The Stars represent special order colors.

Looks to be a Pre-1999 list, as Formula Red R-77 has not yet been replaced by New Formula Red R-510, and Silverstone and Monaco Blue havn't become available yet.

I posted a list from the JDM parts books that was current as of February 2002 for the 1990-2001 cars and October 2003 for the 2002-2003 cars. Some colors are missing from the later years, noticeably Imola Orange Pearl, Long Beach Blue Pearl, and all the custom order colors. I presume those are in the 2004-2005 updates.

NZNick,

To answer your question, (I remember reading on here recently that you bought that Type S… so nice!!!), it has to be a 2000 or 2001 for me. :)

One of these days (when I have an extra $60k lying around) I'd like to figure out a way to get my US car over there for the refresh program and get it painted Monte Carlo Blue.

Great photos in this thread, worth a bump!

Anyone know of any thread showing photos of the "British 10?"

These 2 shots are for @Teej:

Ugh, these dead links are why I wish people would perma-post photos to NSX Prime.

Almost makes me want black floor mats... i should look at FINALLY doing the red stitch addition... Its just here in AZ, there really is no "downtime" and when there is, its in the middle of the summer... you are sweating if you spend more than 30 seconds in the garage, even at night.

Sounds like a really good reason to head up to Sedona or Flagstaff for a weekend. 20 deg drop in temperature in just 2 hours....love those places.
