Again, I've not decided what color I should use to paint the letters 'NSX' my newly black-painted brake calipers: WHITE, SILVER (wheel) or RED (car).
What color would you choose and why? :)
Thanks for your input.

Regards,
Thomas

Last two pictures: My NSX on the Schwägalp. We'll surely do a meeting next year, great track! :)

my personal opinion

On a Formula One Red '91-'01 NSX w/ those style of wheels & flat black calipers, I'd personally either:

- machine/polish the NSX w/ a dremel/rotary device!

-or-

- paint/enamel the "NSX" in gold or bronze & clear-coat it!

In response to the other thread regarding air-valve caps, the black would go well w/ your wheels, NSX, and calipers.

Thanks very much for your input on the valves and the caliper color. I've decided to go with silver. :)

Last pic is my new number plate for exhibitions only. We're not allowed to drive with it. :D Special thanks to Madfinc. :)

Caliper colour depends on three factors:

1) what colour your car is,
2) if you want it to draw attention or not, and
3) your rims

Assuming your car is the red in those photos, red calipers would look fantastic because I saw plenty of red's with red calipers at NSXPO and they looked fantastic. Or if you want the more conservative look, paint them black with the 'nsx' text in red or silver.

I personally think if you paint them all silver, it will hide the calipers behind your rims... there is such thing as 'too much silver' (lol, silverOne, cDub, Paul and all the other silver guys may argue otherwise.... ;) :D ) White calipers on a red NSX will look out of place IMHO.

You may consider bronze or yellow calipers so people will think you have ceramic brakes like a porsche. ;)

Anyhow, all this is just my opinion...take it or ignore it. :)

ah crap, i just re-read your question... you were asking about the nsx text. i mis-read it as caliper colour. just ignore my above post... i'm going to leave it since i invested the last 5mins writing it.

i think you should do the NSX text in silver... or maybe red. :)

Hi Terry,

Thank you very much for your photoshopping. :) Pink is the color to go. :D
White and silver looks good IMO. But as I see with the other colors I have to improve the quality of my painting overall. :)

Thank you very much,
Thomas
