Bought a NSX on Friday!

Thanks for all the comments!!

And shawn110975, thanks for pointing out the add pic option.

Gleibig, thanks for adding them to the feed!

99NCNSX, when in October is the NSXPO? I've done a ton of traveling for shows over the years with my other cars. I don't mind the drive!

I'm going to get better pictures soon! Also I've got wheels, HIDs, and springs going on hopefully next weekend. Then off to Acura to get the TB/WP service, Plugs, Belts. I'm thinking of adding a new crank pulley, and a valve adjustment with the new LMS springs from SOS. And debating on the Rad hoses, 6 or 25... To do or not to do them. Then I'm gonna take a break and enjoy it before doing anything else.

If anyone has any opinions on the preventative work I'm open for suggestions. It stings to have to do this just after buying it, but its been 20k miles and 13 years since its been done. And reading on here it seems most say to go ahead with the change.

Brian, see attached link to website for NSXPO 2013 -http://www.nsxpo2013.com/

Should be an easy drive down here in October. Looking forward to seeing you. Registration will open soon. Hotel registration already available.

It was a fun ride home! Other than the salt on the road, got a chip or two but not too bad for the distance.

I'm going to wait a few months on the hoses, I examined them and they still seem soft and not dried out. And after reading my owners manual end to end last night I realized its not that big of a deal to do it after the timing belt, but i will do all 25 when i do it. But all other preventative services are getting done once I get the stuff in.

I also just purchased a comptech exhaust from the parts for sale section from another prime member. I figure it will help offset the lower HP of the auto model some. And sound good too!

Nice and clean lookin car. Congrats.

congrats... good for you

enjoy

get the service and add on goodies done early in ownership.. you'll enjoy the money spent longer... and it's much easier to do while the car is still "new to you"... in a couple years.. if your like me.. some other shiney toy will catch your eye... and you won't be so willing to spend the dough on the car..

good luck// I just got mine and love it!!

It is very fun to drive! I find myself leaving my house for no reason just to go for a drive.

It's going to be nice to work on a car again. I'm doing the tein springs, exhaust, steering bushings, Hid's, spark plugs, fuel filter, and oil change. Before taking it to the dealership for TB/WP, valve adjustment, SOS LMA's, Crank Pulley, and Drive Belts, alignment to been done.

I completely understand the desire to go for a drive for no reason. Not as fun here in Grand Rapids with my NSX as my days back in Dallas with my GSR but still....
