BMW M owners fed up with NSX owners?

Take notice of the 'Los Angeles across the
divider Rev'.

Since all we do is sit in traffic, the locals resort to reving their motor in gridlock.
Nothing like someone in a Mustang, stationary in traffic at rush hour, directly across the divider going in the OPPOSITE direction across from you, reving their motor and giving you the eye.
I almost bust into laughter at the mere sight of it.

Truly an 'I Love LA' moment.

Barnacles! Like on the hull of a ship?
So that Mustang owner must have just been reving his engine to keep the cooling system clean. I see now.

Thanks for the tip. Actually, that sounds like an original excuse to use on the cops.
But officer, I have to run the car hard occasionally to keep the barnacles from forming in my cooling system.

Maybe score some points for originality...
followed by points on my license.

Actually, It has a lot to do with the cost to repair, as well as the safety of the occupants in the car.
My 02 M3 is way more expensive than either my NSX, or my (former)95 M3, and yet the insurance is way less than either of the other cars.

Yeah, that does not make any sense at all. The insurance company must be rating the new car as a casual driver, less than 10 miles type of thing, and the NSX as a daily driver or longer distance. I have never seen brand new models of anything cost less to insure for the same coverage as an older model, unless the person now has many more cars and gets the multiple discounts.
