Blue Batmobile Aug 2011 updated (PICS)!

I think it looks better Stock. Those side skirts r hideous. If I were you and was going to chop up a rare monte carlo blue, I would have just gotten an 02+ LBBP. Very nice color though.

Just my opinion:wink:

Easier said than done. I got this car for 25k ;).

Well that was a steal!!! Wish I found a deal like that when I was looking for a monte carlo blue. Even if it had a few small problems. Now Im even more jealous. I feel whatever lip you pick will help out a lot.

Shine Type 1 chin spoiler . All the cool kids are doing it lol. I forgot there was 2 types of shine lips. I just wanted to be more clear about it.

Let me get this straight: you got an NA2, MCB with only 12k miles for 25k?

I think my head just exploded.

After I gather myself, I think I'm going to buy myself a set of Bilsteins. The drop on your previous '05 looks exactly where I want my car to be. You had OEM springs on right?

Since you are changing your interior color, what are your plans for the sides of the center console? By the way, wheels will make the car completely different as will the front lip. The Shine lip is good but will break easily. I will be installing a CF Shine lip on my car since I have the Umbrella front lift system.

I'm sure anyone would be lucky to have your car but since you're posting pics on a public forum which will obviously create opinions (good and bad) here's mine

There's just something a little off with how the sideskirts blend with the rear valance/diffuser and the 91-01 popups. It's like you have a real rounded (modern) rear but very angular side skirts and even more angled/chiseled front end.

Your 02+ car had a nice uniform look to it. Maybe I can suggest the Shine (Kei Office replica) lip. I had them make one for me but I ended up going a different route before they had it ready. I'm sure he still has it ready... let me know if you need a contact there.

Have you seen Ted's Spa Yellow here in LA? He has the Kei office front and it looks sweet. It also has a more rounded look to maybe tie in the front and rear of your car...

Yes, oem springs with Bilstein shocks :). I Love the ride and feel of them. Not too stiff, but firm enough.

I need something fairly durable since my car is my daily. I live in San Diego, and the roads can be pretty brutal.

That lip may help. The current side skirts hang lower then the rear and I feel the only way to make this flow better would be that lip or a different front bumper that is lower and wider then the side. I feel the 02 rear and sideskirts only go with the 02 front end and the same for the pre 02's. Hope wheels and lip even everything out. My favorite color for the NSX!

I'm keeping the panels tan. I will eventually change the carpet to black. I was going to change the panels on the door to blue to match the center console, but i'm probably going to leave them black at this point.

The origional owner actually emailed me back in feb, asking if i were still looking for an nsx. I told him I was a couple years back. I was driving a 2010 GTR after I totaled my 02 LBBP. So i agreed to look at the car since it was local. He'd only put 12k mi in the 14 years he owned it! His back went out on him so he really couldn't drive it anymore. He offered the car for 25k! So i went home, put my GTR on Craigslist, sold it a few days later, paid off my loan and cash more than enough cash to by this one outright. I couldn't pass up this once in a lifetime deal, plus i got myself out of debt and made out with a new old classic sportscar with change leftover :D.

the car is looking clean!

imo the side skirts look a little out of place for now but im assuming thats all because the car isnt 100% finished to your vision/standards.

im sure in due time when its all done the cars will look amazing as your original nsx did in completed form.

congrats on getting likely one of the if not THE best nsx deal also!

for sure no 02+ front end update?

That makes me want to cry but congratulations :) That has to be the best deal ever on a legitimate NSX.
