Looks good Blodi. Pretty easy project. Maybe you can help me explain what it looks like in person vs pictures. I can't seem to capture it on my camera. The flat black captures light and gives it a lot of depth...way more than I would have thought.
Thats a good way to describe it. The flat finish diffuses light so it looks a little lighter than just black...but the flash really makes it look that way.
I'll hopefully get some better pics of it out in the sunlight when I get it mounted and get my car back off of jack stands in a few weeks.
Thanks. I need a new exhaust but I'm scared about making the car too loud. I'm not ready to go thru what I went thru on my '91 just yet. Going to try and get it right the first time!
I just went outside and pulled off my stock badge (which I completely destroyed in doing so...it was on there really good.) The new badge's pins don't line up to the stock holes. In order to cover the holes I'll have to mount it so the bottom of the frame covers the holes. Or I am planning on touching up some chips in my front bumper with a paintscratch.com kit anyways this spring, so I could just fill the holes and respray the area and mount the badge were the old one was....
Or option 3...I could just find a slightly larger "A" badge so the A will cover up the pin holes....
***Update, I just bought another cheap badge off ebay that is a little over half an inch wider than the first...it should cover the pin holes...**
