hi, the front setup of my car is bilstein shock+ stock spring, but its too low for me, i've sent my car to the auto shop yesterday and asked if they could put the spring on the higher perch to raise the car back to the stock height and the mechanic told me i must get the stock shock for that. i'm so confused, any help?

Doesn't sound like the shop is familliar with the Bilsteins. As you well know, the bilstein shocks have adjustable perch settings. They just have to move the perch clip/ring to the higher groove.

Your mechanic was definitely wrong. Please have a look if they've mounted the front shock on the front and the rears one on the rear. Bilsteins on the upper perch doesn't lower the car at all.
