Billy Johnson racing in NASCAR at Watkins Glen

Is it Sunday at 1? What time zone?

Hey Billy - We should pitch in and send a large flower bouquet or something similar to Roush saying its from the Billy Johnson Fan club! It might win you some points:wink:

HOLY CRAP, Billy! Don't know how I missed this thread.

Ginormous congratulations. Looking forward to the race on espn. You'll have a bunch of guys rootin' for you.

someone pleade tell me what time... why is it I can't find this thing? I've been all over the ESPN website...

I got so many people watching this race. I told everyone I know, hey this guy Billy Johnson who is a member of this site I am on, on the internet is racing at the Glen on Saturday.
Billy is there a 1:18 of the car you are driving? If I buy one and mail it to you will you sign it to my mother, a NASCAR nut and mail it back to me?

I really hope you win on Saturday and that you continue to race NASCAR. Good luck to you and I will be watching for sure. My mom is going nuts waiting to see this race. She is a Jeff Gordon NUT currently. When Jeff first started racing I told her "watch this guy he's really good" Now it's jeff Gordon everything with her. She has a huge cardboard cut out of him in her livingroom, even the light switch covers at her house are Jeff Gordon.

Its gonna be a blast watching this. I hope we make it through the whole race! The odds are very long at the books but we have faith:)

Congradulations Billy ... Good luck!

I've been huge Roush fan for many years and a big fan of the Nationwide Series. I'll deffinately will be watching. I have not missed a NNS race on TV yet this year.

Looking forward to seeing you run upfront all day long!

Looking forward to tommorrows results! Go Billy!

Billy is this fame getting you chicks? Like... do you go to a bar and sit next to a babe and say "see that number 6 car on TV babe? That's me driving..."

And does she then take off her panties?

I want to know what life is like as Billy Balls Johnson.

@turbo2go, I asked Billy the women question months ago since I would play that into getting laid as much as I could. He actually has a girlfriend so he doesn't utilize it as much as he could. This should be a wild race to watch. Watkins Glen is a good track for Billy. I fear the Oval tracks would be more bumping than driving.

Watching this right now... he is 36... I missed the big crash... Ambrose still running first.

He was running good; and hopefully he doesn't have bruises or ailments that linger. Billy told his crew before the first pit stop that he was faster that the guys ahead of him but conserving

Sadly it was once of those NASCAR incidents that always takes out someone that had no part in initiating the incident. It appeared from one replay that he didn't see the car were stopped or at the speed he was in, he just couldn't stop the car in time but that was a solid hit!

Billy qualified 9th and was running strong but got caught up in two crashes in front of him including the big one.

Hope you get some more chances to run with the big boys again Billy!

I'm impressed,he outqualied said/piquet jr./fellows..ect...9th out of 43! But luck plays a big part in racing...you need it to win...The anouncers were upset too they wanted to see what the 24 yo could do:frown:

He had qualified 9th??? I'm even more bummed now. Just hope he is ok personally the pile-up didn't look too good.
