Billstein Shocks

The install id described in detail in the FAQ (same as installing springs pretty much). The best price? Do a search, as this is asked monthly it seems. I think the price recently went up and about $525-540 shipped is the going rate at the moment from what I recall, but the search will tell you more.

I got mine installed but definitely a 2-3 man job if you want it done in a few hours instead of DAYS/NIGHTS in the garage yourself...You will need the right tools..(AIR TOOLS works really good).

The part was about $500.00 shipped from NOPI, great bunch of guys and service.

Good luck and have fun

Mike

I purchased my bilsteins from Dali and had it installed recently. The mechanic used the OEM ring for the installation and did not use the rings provided by bilstein. Is this the right way to install bilstein? Will it have any effect on the performance of the bilstein and my car's ride quality?

Sounds like your install was not right, how did he use the OEM ring, what part are you referring to here? The bilsteins have a snap rings that go in the different grooves, i.e upper or lower perch and their own perches which slide over the shock depending on setting you pick the OEM's do not. Do you have pictures of the left over parts? Picture of the installation as well

You definitely need the right tools. It took a very long time for us to do it ourselves. If I were to do it again, I would just have a shop do it.
