Nope, the seat sits higher. You acutally loose some.

Came across these today:

Apparently Recaro's sold as OEM on the Mazda RX-7, there is also a red version - I wonder if these might be easier to come across than OEM NSX-R seats? I would imagine the weight savings would be very similar.

Depend on the size of your package...:biggrin: You can try it out when we have the SCA meet next week. Hopefully by than, my second seat will be here. It is sitting in the custom right now in Seattle. I can't wait to get it in my car.
