Berlina 02 Type-R

so i finally got my 02 parts back from the paint shop along with some other CF Type-R goodies and other junk i had collected over time. i had some time over the weekend so i put everything together. too bad it got dark by the time i was done.

here are some teasers.

Only NSX's permitted to have neon-green wheels are the Takata Dome NSX or MJ's Green Hornet NSX... :tongue:

I concur w/ Len, black-chrome/hyper-black would look stealth & unreal on the 17/17 OEM wheels & matched to a Berlina black NSX!

the center peice is easy.
just boil it a pot of pho soup for thirty days. only pho soup will make the seals seperate.

if you dont know how to make pho, go to this site and watch the movie and they will show you how to make pho.

don't be cheap and use instant noodle soup. it will make it crack.

dip it in and it will make the seals soft and you can pull it apart. that will give you access to the 'acura' letters and you can remove those. put everything back together. and slap on the na2 badge and your done.

i dont charge anything. just pay for the parts and i'll do it.

No like the one that is on your car with the "H" emblem.

I bought a set of "H" emblems and was wondering if I can just remove the original acura symbol and leave it blank, and glue on the H symbol ontop of the centerpiece.

Is that how it works. I've seen pictures of the center tail lights in which the H emblem seemed to be glued from the outside. I might be wrong.

Stick-e-rice, the real JDM tail lights have the H emblem embossed into the center tail light lens. I took mine out, it was a pain to get it removed. To do what you want to do, you would just have to remove the Acura sticker from inside the lens. Then stick the emblem on the outside (not glue but a special sticker that usually comes with the emblems).

The way Honda did it for the JDM tail lights you cannot match what they did. It's embossed and then somehow foil was either painted or plated onto the plastic inside of the lens.
