I know the deadline to sign up was 2 days ago 8/18. I just couldn't commit until I found out this morning whether I had to work or not. As it turned out I'm free. Can I still come?

I was told by Yolanda that it's fine to just bring your payment with you when you arrive. The only pre-BBQ thing you have to do is say you're coming so you should be good to go.

We could meet at the Marina Blvd. & Baker St. at around 11:00am. James, no this is not an official caravan thread. I brought this up replying to yojack1's post...thinking he may be interested in driving up together since they're (yojack1) coming from So. San Francisco area. They would have to pass by just to get to the GG bridge from where they're at. Like I said previously "Anyone that is close to the area is welcome to join." So far yojack1 has not responded to this, so I may just drive up solo like you. I figure if I don't get response for this non official caravan by the end of tonight, I won't show up at the meeting place for this.
