Finally decided to buy an LFA. Have wanted one for a while, but was waiting on the the new NSX for a LOOOONNNNGGGGGGG time and eventually decided to move forward with the LFA. Expect delivery next Saturday. Still love the NSX and will probably purchase one in the future as a DD once they, hopefully, decide to offer a Spider version and get their software programming figured out.

Love your collection of cars. Hope you post some driving impressions after a few weeks of ownership. Have only seen an LFA a small handful of times, including driving past one in opposite directions at slow speed in a Pittsburgh neighborhood. Was pretty awed at the noise that came from it, even at 15 mph.

the the first "cant find parts not even a bolt " thoughts start to fill your head... then once again to auction.
goodluck

Wow. Is Lexus still making the LFA or are you buying a used one? Impressive car to be sure. Very exclusive. Make sure you post some pictures.

So what you made you decide on the LFA versus a plethora of other higher performing vehicles out on the market?

I've wanted one for quite awhile but the want is slowly dwindling away since better and better cars, especially for the money, are coming out.

It's still on my list but at 300k+ it seems like much better choices out there.

I've yet to see one at $300k. $350K + is what I've seen. But I agree, at $300K I'd be looking at the overwhelmingly overpriced 15/16 GT3 RS. LFA is a fantastic choice though.

You had some balls to make that decision. It would also be my decision but I am far from making a purchase like this anytime soon... As we say in Italy it is easy to be gay with someone else's ass. I have to admit that I would be tempted by the F12 Berlinetta or the 458 Speciale. Yet they would not feel as "special" as the LFA...Screw the pictures, post sound files! :)

Finally got delivered and had the chance to drive it. F-ing nuts. Like driving a race car on the street. Makes my Ferrari seem like a Civic. Unless you drive it you cannot comprehend what Lexus has done. I know two guys that sold their Ferrari 599 GTO's and kept their LFA's. Now I fully understand why. Epic!

This may sound stupid, but would you consider it so crazy of a car that you wouldn't daily drive it? (If money weren't an issue)
Having a car like that is nice, but I'd always wanted to know if these kind of cars could be your DD if one were so inclined.

Could definitely DD this car. Any super car with decent visibility would work as a DD.

My Porsche has the PDK which I typically drive in auto mode for which it is superb. However when manually shifting I prefer the LFA because it actually feels like a fast manual vs an automatic which is what the PDK feels like.

pics, vids, review!

love the LFA one day ill have one

you know what they say, pics or it never happened! J/K but post them up ASAP. Love the LFA!

Posted the same driving experience over at Feerari Chat and I have realized that for the most part the guys on this forum are actually more informed and enthusiastic true car guys than some of the posers on the Ferrari forum. Amazing that some guys over there never heard of the LFA. Just goes to show that some Ferrari owners only buy for the badge. Sort of sad really
