Believe it or not, the Ol' girl is up and running again!!!! Dropped it off to Ramon yesterday at 5:45 p.m. and he had it running by 2:00 p.m. this afternoon when he gave me an excited telephone call that he had got it running again. Ramon Rocks!!!! (But we all knew that anyways).

Turns out that it was just the threads on the spark plugs that went bad, no other engine craziness. Ramon ended up inserting a timesert to fix the plug. While he was in there he figured out that the same plug had previously been helicoiled as the hole was larger than the rest of the plugs (looked like it had been tapped previously). Evidentally, the thread finally gave out again.

Anyways I would like to give my personal thanks to Ramon, as well as everyone else who has helped me by posting their opinions on my previous thread. You guys really saved my @ss!! Gerry Johnson and DanO, you were right on the money, and I'm glad I posted my problem on this board (and am also glad that there is such a wealth of knowledge here). The Acura dealer wanted to charge me $4k+ to pull the engine and machine the heads again. Ramon tapped a new coil with the engine on for $400, and he did his usual meticulous job in less than one day.

Also had the pleasure of meeting Calvin (yellowpad) when he was picking up his shiney and newly lowered car. There was a three NSX convoy leaving Ramon's shop.

Thanks again everybody!!

That's great news. I'm glad Ramon was able to help you, he is the best IMO. Enjoy the car.

Great stuff, isn't it? I am still waiting for my baby to get back to me after two months already -- Ohh, the wait.

Corry, you were supposed to get them mounted today, huh? How'd they look? Front offset okay (clears brake caliper)? I just got the car back or else I would have mounted them already. I'm just dying to know here.

P.S. Thank you for not emailing me pics with the rims on the car and a mirror up to the exhaust to show your car's running!
