Hum...custom Targa top on a 91 huh? I wouldn't buy it tho personally. if I wanted targa...i'd wait and save up more for a 95 and up.

Its a very nice lookin NSX though. But youre right, if I wanted a targa, Id get an OEM spec one with all the right reinforcements in the right places.

I agree with everyone else here. I would not consider buying it. It does look great though.

I think those are some of the best looking wheels I have ever seen on an NSX.

Wow, he's been trying to sell that thing on eBay for many many moons. I was tempted by the ~15K savings over a '95... I watched it go unsold a few times, and then back in February I posted here asking about it:

As you can see, the many responses were all of a singular and very vocal opinion - namely, "run like hell"!

Oh, one other followup - in my email I asked him if the timing belt had been changed, and he gave me the old "no, but the mechanic inspected it and said it was fine" line.

Heheh, any mechanic knows that you cant visually inspect a timing belt - they can look perfect and still fail. That clinched it for me.

That NSX is ruined. Just the thought of someone cutting the roof to make it into a Targa Top makes me cringe. Why do people destroy rare cars? It just makes me sick to see all these Integra Type R's rolling around here with missing rear wings, different bumpers, stickers, aftermarket parts on the motor and being 1/2 off the ground. I realize to each his own but why destroy a limited production car when you can buy a dime a dozen car and then mod it.
