Ayrton Senna Movie Trailer

Looks like the release date will be in 2011. The more I research Senna the more I find on what an amazing man he was on and off the track. He set up a charitable fund with 40 million he personally donated. At the time of his death his personal net worth was well over several hundred million dollars. He would be about 50 years old now.

Can't wait. I have the Senna "S" on the rear window of my Targa and even here in the South, I get people that walk up and remark about him being the greatest driver they ever saw. Not too many people know that same day, Dale Earnhardt Sr. won the Spring race at Talladega and the first words he said when he got out of his car in Victory Lane were this:

"Before I say anything else I want to pay tribute to the greatest driver in the world - Ayrton Senna - who died today -we should all mourn his loss. We want to send our thoughts and prayers to the family of Ayrton Senna and all his fans. He was a great racer and a great champion. It's a shame."

This should be awesome.

Btw - When I bought the NSX I got this wild idea to try to buy one of his helmets. An original Senna helmet goes for $65-$75,000:eek::eek: Considering the fact that my NSX cost less I gave up on the idea.

Good to know he was aknowledged by NASCAR as a great driver. Earnhardt comments at 1 min in. Your quote is not entirely correct, although I have to say before you posted I did not know about the aknowledment by Earnhardt.
