Not to put a damper on the festivities but did anyone attempt to get permission from Senna's family or contact Mr. Uehara regarding the use of their names and signatures?
I remember the profound outcry regarding these issues that I received when I proposed to produce some NSX posters some years ago.
For the Senna decals perhaps there should be a little more charged and a donation made to a charity in his name or a foundation if he has one.
As Shigeru Uehara is still alive and is in communication with the Japanese NSX Club I think we should try to get his approval first.
P.S. I also find it interesting that one of the most outspoken individuals regarding this issue in the past seems to be a willing participant in this new endeavor...

i hope people understand our INTENTION isn't to use their names in any distasteful way. and by all means not here to retire on the handful or senna decals as well... but your point is absolutely one we should consider.
i don't know where to start with leads, but if someone can help generate a lead or to a charity linked to SENNA, i could start a correspondence, and tie in a fee that has a charitable destination with it!

I didn't intend to make any distasteful NSX posters either nor was I planning on charging a penny more than the actual cost to produce but had to withdraw my proposal secondary to strong concerns being raised. I made several attempts to get approvals through the proper channels but never got a reply from those in charge so I ceased my efforts in light of the copyright infringement issues.

At the bottom of the site is a link to an English version. I've looked through it, there doesn't appear to be any contact details for the foundation.
What there is though, is a number of approved reseller contact details. Maybe you could try one these to see how they received endorsement?
