Ayrton Senna Commemorative Signature Decal

AYRTON SENNA COMMEMORATIVE DECAL

an idea inspired by "ShiftyBob" here on prime a few weeks ago, it was brought up that maybe we can create a simple "Ayrton Senna" commemorative/decorative signature decal. the same type of commemorative signature decals have been used by the Lotus community to honor Colin Chapman (founder of Lotus).

so with that, i contact my local vinyl vendor to create these Ayrton Senna decal pack.

the image represents the proportions of the vinyl decal. the signature hasn't been altered, or distorted to try to keep the acuracy and look intact. each sticker pack will come with 3 decals in the same color vinyl requested.

decal sheet contains: 1 LARGE (8" decal) and 2 SMALL (4" decals)


this project is not a business for me, nor a stream of income. just simply offering and sharing resources with the community i call home. price only reflects the cost of vinyl, the designers time, the small-scale order of this project, etc.

***all vinyl colors are available. i already ordered out of my pocket the above colors being that its probably the most commonly requested colors. but standard colors such as: yellow, red, blue, etc can be made. and other specialty colors also can be made upon request. it will take a few days longer to make these request, so please do be patient.***

FAQ:

Q - What is specialty vinyl vs. regular vinyl?
A - both vinyls are high quality, and durable for outdoor use. specialty doesn't indicate a higher quality vinyl, but a more rare/harder to replicate surface look. standard vinyl is very easy and readily available. but specialty vinyl is harder to get, and harder to make... therefore the higher cost in nature.


Q - What does White Reflective look like or mean?
A - similar vinyl seen on road signs and safety equipment. the material will reflect and become bright when light contacts surface. for example, a head light from another car will illuminate the decal.


Q - What is Brush Aluminum?
A - looks similar to modern stainless surfaces. it is silver and the brushed effect gives it a great metallic looking quality.


Q - What is Etch/Frost Glass?
A - same look as sand blasted window designs, without the permanent nature and high cost of it. this semi-translucent sticker goes ONLY on glass surfaces (not body) and will give your glass a sand-blasted treatment look. very classy.


Q - How do you install them? Is it hard? And what if i need to remove?
A - installing them is as easy as sticking a sticker in a sticker book (almost). the decals will come in 2 layers. the vinyl layer and a masking layer on top. you peel the two layers away, and the vinyl decl sticks to the mask. you find a surface you want to apply it to. make sure the surface is CLEAN and no chemicals/residue is present. then you can apply a little water from a spray bottle and apply decal. a wet decal allows you to move the decal around for placement acuracy before firmly applying force to stick the decal.

its very easy. specially with small decals like this. you can then use a credit card, or squeegie to remove access water. because of the thin nature of the signature, you can probably do this without the water all together.

to remove, simple pick and peel....

stickers are here... i will ship out on monday~!!! they look awesome... one minor problem. the etch/frost glass was the wrong frost glass (this time they used a material from a new company, and it was WAY too translucent) so he's ordered a new roll of vinyl due to come in this thurs, and i can probably have shipped out by NEXT week.

those that ordered frost/etched, i can either refund, ship another color or ship your order once frost gets in (or for those who have multiple ones, i can ship part of order now). PM me for details! thanks!

actually, EACH sheet has 3 stickers (1 LARGE + 2 SMALL). (as seen in the first sample photo). so for EACH color request, its one sheet (3 stickers in same color) hope that clarifies it.
