I wish this wasn't on the other side of the country, but if anyone is near this area I think you need to check this out!

Take a look at the cars that will attend:

The SECC will also be featuring a "Super Exotic" or Uber category for the purpose of having similar "Super Cars" run in
an exclusive run group with each other. The cars included in the Uber category are:
Porsche Carrera GT, Porsche 959, Porsche GT1, McClaren F1, Mercedes-Benz SLR, Pagani Zonda, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari F50,
Ferrari F40, BMW M1, Bugatti Veyron, Saleen S7, Maserati MC12, Koenigsegg CCR, Mercedes-Benz CLK-DTM

Damn the midwest! That is an amazing line up of cars. I would love to see or at least hear them. They should throw in a F1 car for kicks.

On another note, I don't know how they spelled koenigsegg right and Mclaren wrong

. And no Ford GT?

Edit: And that first black Porsche on the member's page is rediculous.

the have some SERIOUS vehicles in that bunch. Most of the are stock looking sleepers. The black s600 Renntech equipped is a complete monster!

Isn't anyone close to here going to go and see all of these cars on the track? If I didn't already have plans this weekend, I would of bought a ticket just to see these cars on the track!

But what a poor venue to do this. Almost all straight shots and a whole bunch of concrete. Not able to really stretch those 500-600 hp legs

Spelled correct on the site. Hmm.

Koenigsegg is my favorite on that list.

Ah good for them, they must have changed it. You can see it spelled incorrectly in the first post.

I can't even imagine what it is like to drive one of those cars.

I just came back from the track event, it was quite a disappointment.

There were only 2 Carrera GTs in the super exotic category.

In the super car race, the 2 CGTs ran with a Corvette. Is a vette a super exotic?

Man that's a bummer. They made it sound like all those other cars were going to be there. I guess it can't be all that bad seeing CGTs and other nice porsches fly around, but still. Any videos?

Good thing you didn't fly out there Carguy when the best car featured you already own:biggrin:

Yep I took some videos. The avi files are 19mb. Not sure where I can host them.

Man the CGTs sound so bad ass. I get hard just listening to the CGTs blast off on the track.

Yeah, it was quite the disappointment... I didn't even get to see anyone run. I was there for an hour and no one was on the track.

One of those front engine ferraris showed up... I think it was a 575. But would have paled in comparison if an F1 or Veyron or Zonda showed up. VERY disappointed.

BOOOOO... SHAME ON YOU Scottsdale Exotic Car Club...

I'm going to write a letter. $30 for NOTHING... they weren't even taking money at the door... I guess I was the stupid one for pre paying...

Did anyone else click on this thread because they saw "Awesome track day!" being posted by CarGuy! ...i feel soooooo let down.

Looks like the tire marks FuryNSX left on the track from NSXPO are still there.
