I just took mine out to save weight, I think theres like 4-5 bolts. let me know if you need it. reach me @ [email protected]
I rebuilt mine. I'd say R&R plus bleed afterwards is a 2-3 hour job.
ABS replacement - as in the complete modulator, accumulator and pump from the early system? If you are going to do a complete replacement, much better to upgrade to the later 2000 ABS modulator, works better than the early system and doesn't have the maintenance issues of the early system. Any used ABS from an early series NSX will likely have or develop the characteristic problems associated with the early ABS system.
If you are worried about the labour costs perhaps you would be better off with a search on Prime for threads covering the rebuild of your early ABS system. The Wiki will also have useful information on the early ABS repair. If you don't want to repair the existing ABS you would be better off investing in a used ABS from a 2000 or later NSX (Honda S2000 modulators can also be made to work and are cheaper) rather than installing a used early ABS which will eventually develop problems requiring maintenance.
