This week's issue of Autoweek made mention of the upcoming HSC, and how they believe Honda will NOT be going the hybrid route. It also opined that the engine will be 300 hp or so. The tone of the comments was meant to alleviate fears by current NSX owners that our cars were going to be made obsolete by the new hybrid technology.

If the new car is a hybrid, the last thing I'd worry about is becoming obsolete. 
I read that also. Got excited when I glanced over and saw the article talking about it and the engine. Was let down when I read the contents of it though.
