Auto Trans D dash light flashing.

Hi Everyone.I have just bought a 93 NSX Auto.When the stick is in drive the dashboard "D" green light keeps flashing.Is this normal?If not,any idea to the cause of it? Thankyou.

It's not normal, but I'm not certain what it means.

The D light flashing means there is a problem with one of the sensors or circuits in the automatic transmission system. If you jump the service check connector the D light will flash a code to let you know where to look for the problem. Codes are listed on page 14-52 and 14-53 of the service manual.
