Just a heads up. Time to offer the group buy again for a warm and fuzzy apparel ........ those who attended last year's Laguna Seca event will remember how cold and breezy it got ......... so this year, we are going with a Sport-Trek crewneck sweatshirt. Black with red trim, or gold trim. If you want athletic heather color - let us know, we will custom make one for you.

Thanks for the feedback. As always the beauty of a logo is in its simplicity while also conveying the message.

I am waiting for word from IMSA (via tk) if they will have an objection for using the letters ALMS. If they do, I will drop it.

Given that this is an event specific logo - so people can brag that they were there lol!, I will take "pre-paid" orders which can be mailed or delivered at ALMS to save you a few dollars. As my first post said, we can custom make it on any apparel.

Well we got the expected news - no go with ALMS letters in the logo.

We will proceed by offering the apparel without the ALMS letters (see revised picture). Actually, this should appeal to more folks who have attended or will attend Laguna Seca in 2008 but not necessarily the ALMS event :biggrin:

I will try to make one major run in production to minimize cost for all with an absolute cutoff date on 8/22; all orders must be pre-paid by then. Price for the crewneck sweatshirt is $48.50 ea for XS-XL and includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail and CA 7.75% sales tax. Please PM for details of PayPal.

2XL add $2.00
3XL add $3.00
4XL add $4.00

The fit is athletic cut, i.e., relatively loose; there is quite a bit of lent on initial use if you don't first wash it in cold water.

Other custom order apparel with the same logo will be priced privately based on order specifications.

I was asked twice already, so obviously my post needs clarification.

The fit of the crewneck sweatshirt is loose - but not excessively baggy. You want it a bit loose.

The logo is embroidered (not silks screened) on the front left chest, about 3" wide or thereabouts. Three colors: red, white and gray/silver. Based on the initial sew out, we may change the track to white and make the CA in silver. Our discretion.

If you opt for a custom athletic heather color, obviously the white color will become black. Similar revisions (red polo will have black letters) with any other custom apparel like polo or leather jacket ......

Here is the sew out ......... just a reminder, last year the wind and the weather was freezing and many were not prepared. If you plan to take a drive on 17 mile with the top off, or put your feet in the white sandy beach, you need one, don't be a dork, do it in style like the F and P owners ......:tongue: :biggrin:

The sweatshirts are ready to for shipping - will get to them by tomorrow. They came out so great that we made a few extra in both the black and athletic gray.

Hrant- I don't want to look like a dork, so any chance I could order a Berlina Black with the Recaro Red color in Large???
 
Mine was on my doorstep yesterday afternoon. Just opened the box today and they came out great!
